Our Web presence. Our new Web look.
Inasmuch as you have become accustomed to the look, feel, content and ink-stained fingers of the paper you are now holding, we continue to reinvent our existence and our products.
This is no more apparent that the recent changes we have made to our online site, www.fedwaymirror.com.
We have had an online site for a few years now, but to be quite honest, it initially wasn’t a very good product. It had a look and feel of a bad 1970s-era Country Squire Station Wagon — fake paneling and all.
It looked good from a distance, but when you got closer you couldn’t run away fast enough.
That has now changed. We switched to a slimmer, faster, sleeker four-cylinder.
The pages load faster, are clearer, easier to read, categorized by topic and archived with all of the past news.
Special topics will appear as warranted, such as elections. There are also pages for weather, lottery, horoscopes and comics, among others.
Perhaps the most important aspect of our new site is the ability for you to leave comments. We cover Federal Way, but you know Federal Way. Login and add your thoughts, tell your side and give us “the rest of the story,” as Paul Harvey would say.
Additionally, our editorial staff will publish any breaking news to the site that occurs outside of our normal Wednesday and Saturday printing days, thereby making this a dynamic 24/7 local representative of your Federal Way community.
So back up, look at us again, sit a spell and leave us comments at www.fedwaymirror.com. We’ll read them all.
