I just wanted to let the people of Federal Way know of a way they can save on gas.

I noticed that I was getting very poor gas mileage for some time, and one time it cost me about $800 to fix my gas pump. Then one day I saw the cover on my gas cap open. So I went and picked up a locking gas cap. Now I get better gas mileage and my engine runs better.

That tells me that someone is going around stealing gas. I was told that crime was down in this town. No one reports crimes anymore unless it is a “big bucks” crime or a way the prosecuting attorney can make a name for himself. So in other words, no crime is reported because no one believes anything will be done?

So if you want to save gas, get a locking gas cap.
