I am a recent graduate of Federal Way High School, second generation college student at the University of Washington and have lived in Federal Way almost my entire life. I am supporting Tracey Eide for the 30th District Senate because she is the best candidate.

I have personally benefited from Senator Eide’s outstanding work. Before 2003, there wasn’t a place in Federal Way where youth and teens could go after school to do homework, engage in athletics, and simply feel at home. That all changed when Senator Eide paved the way and obtained $100,000 in funding for a youth development center, dubbed “The EX3 Teen Center.” During my high school years, I witnessed countless students use the teen center as an academic environment to do homework assignments, meet with friends to work on projects or attend summer camps while their parents were busy at work. The Teen Center created athletic leagues and a network of adult role models who helped kids prepare for their futures.

The EX3 Teen Center has been an astonishing success and helped hundreds of kids because of Senator Eide’s good work.
