Todd Beamer High School’s Destinie Okoli, dance team, was selected as the Federal Way Mirror Female Athlete of the Week for April 27.
Q: What is your favorite subject/class in school?
A: Current world problems.
Q: What activities/hobbies do you participate in?
A: I’m in BSU at Todd Beamer High School.
Q: Person who has helped you succeed the most?
A: I would say my mom and oldest brother Sean.
Q: Do you have a pre- or post-game tradition? What is it?
A: I like to visualize the dance in my head full out the night before.
Q: Song you currently can’t get enough of?

From the sideline: Destinie has spent four years on the Todd Beamer High School dance team and is the captain. She has a great work ethic and excellent leadership. She led the team to the state championship in her juno year and second in the national championship earlier this month in Los Angeles.
